In an effort to make this world a better place, we have decided to make an improvement to society. Using real-life scenarios and modern technologies we are redefining the public transport experience. As a commuter using public transport has its advantages and disadvantages. We believe that as a community we can work together to improve the experience for everyone.
It's with that thought that we are proud to announce that Wizzherd is ready for public use. Wizzherd is now at beta (pronounced as bei'ta) stage, meaning it’s in a good form run on your android phone (iphone will be supported at a later stage). There will be a limited amount of users that can sign-up so if you are using the Southern Line train service in Cape Town then you will definitely want to be first to sign-up. There will still be a few bugs here and there and we apologize in advance but we will be making improvements as time goes on.
Hang on, what is Wizzherd? Glad you asked, Wizzherd is a mobile phone app which allows users to see real-time information regarding trains. So we are talking about real-time arrival times, real-time journey progress so that you can see exactly how close you are to your destination. No more trying to peering through the window to try see what station you are at. Real-time reports about the status of the train. Whether the train is crowded, stopped, or delayed you have the power to let the community know. Lastly, we are focused on users so that the app remains useful and gives you, the user, the ability to spend your time focusing on more important tasks.
So what are you waiting for? Download the mobile app for Wizzherd now and start the movement.
