Here is where you will find answers for using the Wizzherd app.

How do I login?

Only registered users can access the Wizzherd app. Please download the app via the Google Play Store. Tap the "Create your Account" button and proceed to complete the form by submitting your information. Then enter your username and password at the "Login" screen.

Why can't I login?

First check that you have received the account confirmation email. Click the button on the email to activate your account. Next check that are entering your correct username and password combination. If you have forgotten your password then you can easily reset it, with the following link, Reset Password.

How do I change my password?

You can reset your password either with-in the app or the website. To change your password from with-in the app, go to the "Login" screen, tap the "Forgot my Password" button. Then proceed to enter your email address. Otherwise, to change your password on the website, simply click the button below to have a reset my password link emailed to you.

How do I update my e-mail address?

If your email address has changed, you can update it simply by logging into your account via the website. Then access the My Account page which will be available in the menu.

How do I log out of the Wizzherd app?

From the "Home" screen, just tap the Menu "" button. Then select the "Logout" button which would the last item in the menu.

How do I find train trips?

You can find train trips using the "Home" screen of the app. Currently trips only exist for trains on the Southern Line and Cape Flats Line in Cape Town. We will be adding more train lines in the near future.

How do I change the time of the timetable results?

Whether you are planning to leave later or the trains are not according to the schedule, you can change the time to show more suitable results. Once you have searched, and retrieved results, just tap the "Now" button. This will bring up a time and date picker, select your desired time and press the "OK" button. The results should then reload according to your time selection.

How do I see all the stops along my journey?

Once searched and found trips on your route, simply tap the trip that will be arriving next. This will bring up a screen where you can view information regarding the trip which will include a list of all stops along your trip. Additional trips which are not part or your destination will be slightly less visible.

How do I see how far I am from my destination?

Once searched and found trips on your route, simply tap the trip that will be arriving next. This will bring up a screen where you can view information regarding the trip. At the bottom of the screen, tap the "Start Journey" button. This will take you to the "Journey Tracking" screen. You will now be able to see every stop you pass along the way and how close you are to your destination.

Why do I keep getting told I'm not at the station?

If you are getting a prompt that says "Not at station", then make sure you are at the station which you selected when first searched for trains. Also make sure your GPS feature is enabled on your device and the Wizzherd app has access to this.

Why can I not track my journey?

In order for the Wizzherd app to work, it requires three elements. Network coverage, mobile data and the GPS access for the app. Please make sure you have enough network coverage and mobile data. Also be sure that the Wizzherd app has access to your device's GPS.

How do I create reports?

You can add reports from the Journey Tracking screen. Reports regarding your trip can be added by tapping the "Report" button at the right of the screen. This will bring up a menu of reports that can be sent. Just select the report which best applies to your situation. Please note that excessive adding of reports will be tracked and it may affect the user's access to the Wizzherd app.

How do I add a trip to my favourites?

You can add a trip to your favourites from the "Trip Info" screen. This screen appears after you have selected your desired trip from the "Home" screen. So on the "Trip Info" screen, just tap the "Favourite" button at the top right of the screen. This will change the color of the "Favourite" to indicate that is has been added to your favourites.

How do I remove one of my favourite train trips?

From the "Favourite" screen, tap the "Remove" button at the top right of the screen. This will change colour to indicate that you can remove favourites. Then just tap the favourite that you would like to remove.

How do I disable notifications before I reach my destination?

From the settings screen you will be able to change the "Journey Alerts". This will allow you to only get notified once you reach your destination or have two alerts before you reach your destination.

How do I disable notifications relating to my favourites?

From the settings screen you will be able to change the "Favourtes Alert". This will enable an alert to be sent to you with information about the favourited trip. There is also a time delay,"Favourie Reminder" of how many minutes before the trip that the alert should be sent.

How do I get help within the Wizzherd app?

Simply tap the "Menu" "" button, then select "Help and Feedback" button.
